Enchanted City Newcastle is a dynamic, family-friendly annual after-dark arts event that transforms Newcastle city centre through immersive light installations, captivating performances and creative experiences for audiences of all ages. Bringing together artists, communities and visitors, the festival celebrates the city through innovative light art and engaging cultural experiences.
Joining as a full member, Enchanted City will play an active role in the network, contributing to collaboration, knowledge-sharing and the continued development of light festivals across the region. The festival can also participate in our light art co-commissioning programme and support opportunities for emerging artists through our talent development initiatives.
The addition of Enchanted City strengthens our collective ambition to champion world-class light art experiences, foster creative innovation and increase access to high-quality cultural events.
